Sessions that survive everything
Every terminal is a tmux session on the machine. Lose wifi, close the lid, switch to your phone: reattach and it's exactly where you left it.
Your repos, terminals and agents live there, so Claude Code, Codex and the rest keep working when you close your laptop.
npx -y github:agentgridai/agentgrid upPaste a Hetzner or DigitalOcean API token. Machines run on your account; you pay the cloud directly.
agentgrid initUbuntu, Claude Code, Codex, git, gh and tmux, installed and locked down to SSH keys. About 3 minutes.
agentgrid upPoint an agent at a repo with a prompt. It runs in the background with full logs.
agentgrid task "fix the tests" --repo …Close the laptop. Get a push on your phone when the task finishes, then check the diff.
agentgrid log <task>Every terminal is a tmux session on the machine. Lose wifi, close the lid, switch to your phone: reattach and it's exactly where you left it.
Plus git, GitHub CLI, Node 22, Python, ripgrep. Sign in once with agentgrid login.
Nothing runs on our servers. Your code sits on a machine you own and can delete in one command.
Your local Claude Code can start tasks on the grid and check on them, through the AgentGrid MCP server.
Set an ntfy topic and get a notification the moment a task finishes or fails.
No passwords, only SSH and mosh open. API keys go to the machine over SSH into a private file, never onto a command line. Agents run as a normal user, with full freedom on that box and none on your laptop.
Node 18+ and a Hetzner or DigitalOcean account. That's it.
npx -y github:agentgridai/agentgrid initnpx -y github:agentgridai/agentgrid upUse it a lot? Install once: npm i -g github:agentgridai/agentgrid
claude mcp add agentgrid -- npx -y github:agentgridai/agentgrid mcpThe hosted grid runs on $AGR: hold or spend it for compute, no cloud account needed (rolling out to holders first).
No, Agent Grid creates and manages the machines there with an API token you give it. The token stays in a private file on your computer.
Run agentgrid login once: it opens a terminal on the machine where you sign in with your normal Claude or ChatGPT account. Or set API keys with agentgrid env ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=….
That's why they get their own machine. Background tasks run with full permissions on that box and nothing else. Don't put secrets there you wouldn't give the agent, and use a GitHub token scoped to the repos it needs.
Yes. Any SSH app (Termius, Blink) can attach to the same tmux session. Tasks keep running either way.
The hosted grid is fueled by $AGR and rolls out to holders first.
It's the community coin, launched on Pons. Holders get early access to the hosted grid and new templates; creator fees fund buybacks. You need it to use AgentGrid.
